In view of recent news reports regarding the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), as the Chairman of the Commission I feel I must make the following clarifications:


     1.  I shall represent the EOC to attend the Home Affairs Panel of the Legislative Council this Friday, to give a detailed account of the withdrawal of Mr. Patrick YU's contract.


     2.  Regarding recent allegations against me personally, the matter is now in the hands of my lawyers, and it is not appropriate for me to make any comments at this stage.
