"We wish to reach out to the community to promote the work of EOC and spread the message of equal opportunities," said Ms. Anna Wu, Chairperson of the EOC."I hope the discussion today on stereotyping and discriminatory practices would enable the public to have a better understanding of the issues involved. At the same time, I hope it would help change prejudice and discriminating attitudes and behaviours," Ms. Anna Wu added.
In addition to the discussion session, the roadshow featured exhibitions, video presentations, quiz games and a "meet the public" session.
