Submission from the Equal Opportunities Commission for the 2022 Policy Address on enhancing the support measures to students with special educational needs, persons with disabilities, non-ethnic Chinese population and carers, promoting sexuality education, family-friendly flexible working arrangements, strengthening the ability of small and medium-sized enterprises to prevent and combat workplace sexual harassment.
Work Progress and Key Focuses of the Equal Opportunities Commission
This paper aims to provide the views and recommendations of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) on further employment support and initiatives for the non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) population and efforts at improving racial inclusion in the city. This is in response to the Chief Executive’s announcement in the 2021 Policy Address that “the Government will set an example by taking the lead in providing ethnic minorities with more employment opportunities”.
Submission from the Equal Opportunities Commission on the obligations and the rights of the employers and employees under COVID-19 epidemic, from the perspective of the Disability Discrimination Ordinance and the Race Discrimination Ordinance.
