Notice to Public about Register of Enforcement Notices maintained by the EOC

For the register of the final enforcement notices (“the Register”) established and maintained by the Equal Opportunities Commission (the EOC) under the Sex Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 480), the Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 487), the Family Status Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 527) and the Race Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 602), inspection is available at the EOC’s office during business hours.  Persons who wish to inspect or obtain a copy of the Register should note the following:

  1. Requests must be made in writing or by completing the Contact Us/Feedback Form. Requesters are required to specify whether they wish to inspect the Register in person or whether to obtain a copy of any entry in the Register.
  2. Inspection in person will be by prior appointment and during EOC's office hours. Inspection can only be made at the EOC's office.
  3. Charges:
    • no fee will be charged for inspection of the Register in person.
    • a fee will be charged for obtaining a copy of any entry in the Register at HK$2.50 per page. The copy can be provided to the requester either in person or by post (an additional postage fee may be levied if the copy is to be provided by registered mail). The EOC may not provide a copy of the Register until the required fee has been made.
  4. Enquiries can be made to the EOC via the Contact Us/Feedback Form mentioned in (i) above or via the EOC hotline at 2511 8211.
