Save the date: EOC to host webinars on racial D&I in March and April

In the spirit of International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (IDERD) on 21 March, the EOC will be hosting two webinars in March and April via Zoom to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience in putting racial diversity and inclusion into action.

The webinar “Race and Gender+ Intersectionalities at the Workplace” will be held on 23 March 2022, 3pm-4pm, followed by another event titled “Communication Strategies for Achieving Racial DEI” on 13 April, also from 3pm-4pm. The EOC will announce more details on its Linkedin page in the days to come.

This IDERD series began last Friday (25 February 2022) with a webinar about cultural and religious inclusion. The attendees heard from members of the Sikh and Muslim communities in Hong Kong, as well as employers who take proactive steps to recruit, groom and retain talents from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.

On the panel were Mr Gurdev Singh GHALIB of Sikh Temple; Ms Sharifa LEUNG, Managing Director of 3 Hani Enterprises Limited; Mr LEE Ka-kit and Mr Ravi-K TEJNANI from the Correctional Services Department; and Dr Howard LING, CEO of Dr Mask.
