Post-COVID angst: safeguarding our mental health

We have all suffered losses one way or another since COVID was declared a global pandemic two years ago. Some people lost their jobs. Some experienced an erosion of the boundary between work and life. Others bade a final farewell to their loved ones who fell prey to the virus. One way to start looking for an answer is with Shall We Talk, an initiative launched by the Advisory Committee on Mental Health in July 2020. Amid the pandemic, Shall We Talk has produced a wealth of mental health resources tailored for communities with different needs, from students, carers and the elderly to non-ethnic Chinese and recently bereaved families.
