As part of the “Equal Opportunities Month”, a celebratory campaign for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR, the EOC is collaborating with cross-media producer Steven MA Chun-wai to produce a series of short films titled Under the Same Sky.

Slightly more than half (57.1%) of Hong Kong kindergartens believe they have sufficient resources to support non-Chinese-speaking students, according to a recent study funded by the EOC and jointly conducted by the School of Education and Languages of Hong Kong Metropolitan University and the Hong Kong Child-rity Association.

A year ago (19 June 2021), amendments to Hong Kong’s Sex Discrimination Ordinance designed to protect women from breastfeeding discrimination and harassment officially took effect.
