EOC recognised for its family-friendly and age-friendly culture

The EOC is delighted to be recognised as a “Jockey Club Age-friendly City Partner” and awarded the “10 Years Plus Caring Organisation”, showcasing our commitment in promoting family-friendly working environment.

The Jockey Club Age-friendly City Partnership Scheme is an award scheme that encourages different community stakeholders to join hands in developing an age-friendly culture and environment in the community. As Hong Kong is facing an aging population and shrinking birth rates, our community needs to develop age-friendly measures so as to better accommodate the diverse needs of the elderly and empower them to continue to contribute to the society.

As a staunch advocate of age-friendly culture in the community, the EOC has consecutively participated in the Scheme for two years, with the commitment of adopting age-friendly practices. The EOC was awarded a set of certificate and age-friendly sticker in recognition of our participation and contribution in promoting an age-friendly culture in Hong Kong.

Separately, the Caring Company Scheme organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service aims to foster strategic partnerships between the business and social services sectors to promote good corporate citizenship and create a more inclusive society. The awards indicate the companies or organisations recognise the concept of corporate social responsibility and dedicate to developing a sustainable society.

This year, the EOC was conferred the “10 Years Plus Caring Organisation” in recognition of our continuous commitment in Caring for the Community, Caring for the Employees and Caring for the Environment.
