EOC launches bus body advertising campaign to promote Racial D&I Sports Day

The year 2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the implementation of the Race Discrimination Ordinance (RDO). To celebrate this milestone, the EOC is organising a series of activities. Leading the way is the Racial Diversity & Inclusion Sports Day (Sports Day) on 21 April 2024, which aims to promote the value of racial inclusion through the power of sports.

In the lead up to the Sports Day, the EOC launched a bus body advertising campaign on 8 April 2024 to promote the event, with 50 buses travelling on different routes displaying the colourful advertisement for three weeks.

The Sports Day will take place at the campus of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, which is also the event partner. It will bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities to participate in a range of friendly sports activities. Corporate teams will compete in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, while school teams will compete in a 6-on-6 dodgeball tournament. The event will also feature a fundamental movement skills competition among teams representing NGOs.
