The EOC welcomes the wide array of initiatives that the Chief Executive set out in the Policy Address to address the needs of various communities, improve livelihoods and foster a caring and inclusive society.

EOC visits Ebenezer School and Home for the Visually Impaired

On 14 October 2024, EOC Chairperson Ms Linda LAM Mei-sau visited the Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired along with the management team of the EOC. Guided by Dr Alice YUK Tak-fun, Chief Executive Officer of Ebenezer, Mr Remy WONG Kwan-bo, Principal of Ebenezer School, Ms WONG Tin-ling, Principal of Ebenezer New Hope School, Ms Shirley TO Shuk-yi, Social Services Coordinator of Ebenezer and EOC Member, and other teaching staff members, the delegation learnt about Ebenezer’s services in the areas of education, rehabilitation, and career development. The EOC delegation also held a discussion with Ebenezer’s CEO and staff members on ways to tackle the educational and employment challenges faced by people with visual impairments.

EOC organises Racial Diversity & Inclusion Recruitment Fair

The EOC will hold a Racial Diversity & Inclusion Recruitment Fair from 10:30am to 4pm on 20 October 2024 (Sunday) at the Gurdwara Khalsa Diwan (Sikh Temple) in Wan Chai. Organised in collaboration with the Federation of Hong Kong Ethnic Communities, the event is part of the celebration of the 75th National Day and 15th Anniversary of the implementation of Race Discrimination Ordinance. Mr CHEUK Wing-hang, Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration of HKSAR Government will be the Guest of Honour.
