EOC calls for applications for the 2025-26 Community Participation Funding Programme on Equal Opportunities

The EOC’s 2025-26 Community Participation Funding Programme on Equal Opportunities is now open for applications. The programme aims to provide financial support to non-profit organisations, charities, schools and other relevant organisations to organise public educational initiatives on diversity, equality and inclusion. Interested parties are invited to submit their applications on or before 31 March 2025.

The 2025-26 programme features two funding categories: “General Projects” and “Thematic Projects”. The maximum funding amounts are HK$100,000 and HK$150,000 respectively.

Projects or initiatives that cover any of the four anti-discrimination ordinances are eligible to apply for funding under the “General Projects” category. The “Thematic Projects” category is open to projects that focus on one of the four themes:

  • Preventing sexual harassment in the workplace;
  • Promoting accessibility and universal design in products, services and/or environments;
  • Promoting awareness of family status and/or family-friendly and breastfeeding-friendly workplaces; and
  • Fostering racial inclusion in education and/or employment.

The EOC will hold two briefing sessions at its office in Wong Chuk Hang to provide interested organisations with information on the application process and funding requirements. The session on 21 February 2025 (Friday) will be conducted in Cantonese, while the session on 25 February 2025 (Tuesday) will be conducted in English.
