Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

Thank you all for joining us this afternoon. For the sixth consecutive year, the Equal Opportunities Commission is organising an event to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

This year, to spread our messages further and louder, we have lined up a range of events and activities throughout the month of March. Indeed, we are determined to make every effort to push forward the agenda of promoting racial equality and inclusion — through research, policy advocacy, promotion, public education and training, and through collaboration with the Government and different sectors of the community. I do hope we can receive your support and work together to make Hong Kong a truly diverse and inclusive society.
