International Migrants Day Panel Discussion (14 December 2022)

To support the International Migrants Day, EOC and International Organization for Migration (IOM) organised a panel discussion event on “Supporting Social Inclusion of Migrant Domestic Workers: For Business and Social Good”. It was held on 14 December and attended by more than 60 people.

The panelists joining the discussion were Mabel Sieh from South China Morning Post, Cheung-Ang Siew Mei, JP from Christian Action, Myriam Mwizerwa from IOM Hong Kong SAR, China Sub-Office and Mark Chiu from Tanner De Witt. The discussion was moderated by Devi Novianti from EOC and was focused on challenges faced by migrants, especially Migrant Domestic Workers (MDW) in Hong Kong and how businesses can support and include MDWs in responsible business efforts.
