Sticker design competition: “Equality and Respect: Stop Sexual Harassment”

Cash prizes up for grabs in sticker design competition “Equality and Respect: Stop Sexual Harassment”

To encourage the use of creative and engaging ways to promote understanding of sexual harassment, the EOC has rolled out a sticker design competition entitled “Equality and Respect: Stop Sexual Harassment”. Applications are now open until 4 March 2022.

Depending on their eligibility, participants may enter one of the three categories, namely Open, Secondary School (Senior) and Secondary School (Junior). Each participant is required to create a set of six non-animated stickers for instant messaging apps, such as WhatsApp, Line, Signal and WeChat, echoing the title of the competition.

Judging of the entries will be based on their relevance to the theme (50%); expression and potential impact (25%); and creativity and artistic presentation (25%).

The champion, first runner-up and second runner-up in each category will be awarded a cash prize of HK$4,000, HK2,000 and HK$1,000 respectively, in addition to a trophy.

An online polling will also be held on the EOC Facebook page, “平.常.事 EO Matters” for the selection of the “Most Popular Entry” award winner in each category, who will receive a trophy and a cash prize of HK$800.

Last but not the least, the school with the largest number of qualified entries in each of the Secondary School categories will be recognsied as the “Most Supportive School” in the respective category and receive a trophy as well.
