EO Youth Ambassadors gain insights from EOC Chairperson and Members
On 1 April 2023, over 30 Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassadors took part in a mentoring event in which they heard some personal stories and insights from EOC Chairperson Mr Ricky CHU Man-kin and Members Prof Cecilia CHAN Lai-wan, The Hon Vincent CHENG Wing-shun, Dr Rizwan ULLAH and Mr Gary WONG Chi-him.
EOC’s Racial D&I Charter for Employers reaches 300+ signatory-milestone
In March 2023, the Racial Diversity and Inclusion Charter for Employers under the EOC surpassed 300 signatories, a notable milestone that demonstrates the commitment of a growing number of employers to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
EOC Chairperson calls for supporting people with Down syndrome
The United Nations proclaimed 21 March to be “World Down Syndrome Day” in 2012. This year, the theme of this annual event is “With Us Not For Us”, underscoring that people with Down syndrome have the rights to receive equal treatments and opportunities as others.
EOC recognised with “Manpower Developer” status by Employees Retraining Board
The EOC is delighted to be recognised as a “Manpower Developer (MD)” by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) under the “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme”. The status, valid from April 2023 to March 2025, has reaffirmed our continuous efforts and achievements in manpower training and development.
