EOC holds recognition ceremony of Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassador Scheme 2023/24

On 15 June 2024, the EOC held a recognition ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassador Scheme 2023/24 by 42 tertiary students. Over the past six months, the Youth Ambassadors participated in a diverse range of experiential activities to enrich their knowledge and understanding of diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI).

The EOC is collaborating with the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), to organise an advanced anti-sexual harassment workshop for NGO practitioners on 30 August 2024. The workshop is now open for registration until 5 July 2024.

Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities launches talent development scheme for youth with disabilities

The Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities has launched a talent development scheme to equip youth with disabilities with the skills to participate in public affairs and champion the rights and needs of people with disabilities. The scheme, which comprises of eight workshops and a trip to the Greater Bay Area, will run from August 2024 to March 2025 and is free of charge. The council is now accepting applications until 30 June 2024.
