As we step into a new year, we at the EOC want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our stakeholders for the continued support. Your contributions have been invaluable in helping us make progress and reach milestones in our efforts to build a diverse and inclusive Hong Kong.

The EOC has launched the ‘2024-2025 Equal Opportunity Cup Inter-School Debate Competition’ to provide a platform for young people to develop their understanding of equal opportunities. With Commercial Radio 1 serving as the media partner, the debate competition, which will be conducted in Cantonese and on a knockout basis, will focus on issues related to the four anti-discrimination ordinances.

The 2024 Mental Health Month has successfully hosted a diverse array of educational activities aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues in the community. The EOC is proud to be part of the Organising Committee, along with various government departments, non-governmental organisations, and public bodies.

The Zubin Foundation’s 2025 EMerging Talent Internship Programme aims to help non-ethnic Chinese tertiary students expand their skills and start building their careers by connecting them with a wide range of internship opportunities. The programme is now open for registration and local non-ethnic Chinese students studying for a Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree are invited to submit their applications.
