EOC hosts senior Mainland judges from CityU study programme
On 22 September 2025, the EOC hosted a visit for 32 senior judges from the Mainland participating in the 18th Advanced Programme for Chinese Senior Judges. The study programme is organised by The Centre for Judicial Education and Research cum Identification of Hong Kong Law at the City University of Hong Kong, which aims to deepen participants’ understanding of Hong Kong’s common law system through lectures and visits to institutions.
EOC welcomes the Chief Executive’s 2025 Policy Address
The EOC welcomes the wide range of initiatives set out in the Chief Executive’s 2025 Policy Address, delivered on 17 September 2025, that aim to improve livelihoods and promote care and inclusion.
EOC makes submission to Communications Authority’s consultation on renewal of domestic free television programme service licences
The EOC has made a submission in response to the Communications Authority (CA)’s public consultation on renewal of domestic free television programme service licences. The EOC recommends that the CA review and enhance the current requirements imposed on free TV licensees on various accessibility features, including subtitling, sign language interpretation and audio description. Such improvements would improve access to free TV services for audience members with hearing and visual impairments.
Cross All Borders 2026 opens for applications
Cross All Borders is an annual inclusive arts competition organised by the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong. Its mission is to discover emerging artists with disabilities and support their professional development through mentorship programmes, sharing sessions and workshops.
