EOC releases findings of Equal Opportunities Awareness Survey 2021

An overwhelming 90% of the public believes that ensuring reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities and combatting sexual harassment are important areas for future work on equal opportunity.

EOC launches new video series “I am a Carer”

“I am a Carer”, a three-part video series produced by the EOC that sheds light on the challenges confronted by carers in Hong Kong, is now available on YouTube.

Two EOC staff members have been named winners of The Ombudsman’s Awards 2021 for Officers of Public Organisations.

EOC gives legal assistance in sexual harassment case

On 5 November 2021, the EOC issued legal proceedings in the District Court under Hong Kong’s Sex Discrimination Ordinance on behalf of a woman who alleges that her former male colleague sexually harassed her in the workplace on a number of occasions.
