On 10 June 2022, the EOC announced the launch of “Equal Opportunities Month: Together for an Equal and Inclusive Hong Kong”, a citywide awareness campaign accredited as one of the celebration events for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR.
Join panel to explore how businesses can support migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong
In commemoration of International Domestic Workers’ Day (16 June), the EOC is partnering with the International Organization of Migration (IOM) to organise a panel discussion titled “Supporting Migrant Domestic Workers: For Business and Social Good” this Thursday (16 June 2022), 4-5pm at theDesk United Centre, 5/F, United Centre, 95 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong.
EOC hosts award ceremony for winners of “Equality and Respect: Stop Sexual Harassment” Sticker Design Competition 2022
Last Friday (10 June 2022), the EOC held an award ceremony for the winners of the “Equality and Respect: Stop Sexual Harassment” Sticker Design Competition 2022. The event was graced with the presence of the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Clement WOO Kin-man, MH, JP, who presented prizes to the awardees in the Open, Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School categories as the Guest of Honour.
Post-COVID angst: safeguarding our mental health
We have all suffered losses one way or another since COVID was declared a global pandemic two years ago. Some people lost their jobs. Some experienced an erosion of the boundary between work and life. Others bade a final farewell to their loved ones who fell prey to the virus.
