The EOC has recently released a series of five animated videos designed to educate the public, particularly tertiary students, about special educational needs (SEN). These engaging videos use simple cartoons to delve into the concept of equal opportunities, introduce the Disability Discrimination Ordinance, explain the definition of reasonable accommodation, discuss the question of whether one should disclose a disability, and provide tips on disability etiquette.

The EOC is pleased to extend its congratulations to the students and companies who successfully completed the EMerging Talent Internship Programme 2023. Organised by The Zubin Foundation, this programme has connected companies with non-ethnic Chinese students, providing them with valuable internship opportunities.

Riding on World Habitat Day on 2 October, EOC Chairperson Mr Ricky CHU Man-kin shared his views on the housing challenges faced by ethnic minorities in Hong Kong in op-ed articles published in local newspapers. 

The Social Enterprise Summit (SES) 2023 International Symposium, organised by Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum, will take place from 2-4 November under the theme of “Sustainable Wellbeing+”. This symposium aims to bring together social entrepreneurs, social innovators, NGOs, businesses, investors, academics and others for cross-sector dialogues on fostering holistic wellbeing and building a sustainable society.
