As the Year of the Horse approaches, the EOC extends its warmest wishes for good health, happiness and abundant love. The Lunar New year symbolises a fresh start and new beginnings, and like horses that leap over obstacles, may we all find the strength to overcome barriers to equal opportunities. Together let us work towards co-creating a more diverse and inclusive city.

The EOC has made a submission to the Government in response to the 2026-27 Budget Consultation. The EOC calls on the Government to allocate resources for advancing accessibility and well-being for a resilient and inclusive economy.

On 7 February 2026, the Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassadors visited Mind Space, Hong Kong’s first Mental Health Experience Museum. The visit marked the first time the Scheme has organised an outing to Mind Space, aimed at deepening participants’ understanding of mental health and related issues.

Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power is calling for nominations for its 13th Life Driver Election. This annual event recognises distinguished employees with disabilities who have achieved remarkable success in their professions. The initiative also aims to encourage more employers to hire persons with disabilities and boost the confidence of persons with disabilities in seeking employment. The EOC is a supporting organisation of this initiative.
