EOC holds activities to enhance staff members’ understanding of national security

On 15 August 2025, the EOC held a briefing session on national security with Mr Michael CHEUK Hau-yip, Under Secretary for Security of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, invited as the speaker. Mr Cheuk explained the relevant laws on safeguarding national security, the purpose of the legislations and their provisions, enabling staff members to gain a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding national security. EOC Members Ms Queenie CHAN Lai-kwan, Ms Rosanna CHOI Yi-tak, Ms Aruna GURUNG, Miss Shirley TO Shuk-yi and Dr Vincent WONG Wai-lun also attended the event.

On 16 August 2025, a group of volunteers from the EOC hosted a coffee grounds painting session at the Fu Hong Society’s Father Tapella Home, which is a hostel dedicated to serving adults with medium to severe intellectual disabilities.
